Airtrax Names Former GM Production Manager to Head Up New Assembly Facility

HAMMONTON, N.J., July 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Airtrax, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AITX - News), a developer of patented, omni-directional technology with military and commercial applications, announced today it has signed a three-year lease for a 30,000-sq.-ft. assembly operations in Blackwood, New Jersey. The Company has appointed Frank E. Cooper as Plant Manager, who will be responsible for spearheading the Company's new facility for the assembly of SIDEWINDER(TM) Omni-Directional Lift Trucks and Airtrax-MEC Cobra(TM) Aerial Work Platforms. The Company anticipates that the plant will employ 40 people and be operational and producing lift trucks in the Fall of 2005.
Since 2004, Mr. Frank Cooper has served as the President and Owner of LaBisc Corporation, a management consulting company, where he is focused on improving efficiencies and ISO-9000 protocols. From 1980 to 1998, Mr. Cooper served as Production Manager with the Delphi Automotive Division of General Motors (GM). In this capacity, Mr. Cooper directed all manufacturing activities of the $300 million component parts division of this GM plant, which had more than 1,600 employees. From 1998 to 2004, he was Director of Sales and Marketing at L&Z Tool and Engineering, an injection mold building company with annual revenues of $8 million. Mr. Cooper is a member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan.
